By combining human-centered design with rigorous engineering, Burn Design Lab creates culturally appropriate, high-performing stoves that can be produced locally and affordably. Their work addresses the global challenge of harmful indoor air pollution caused by traditional cooking methods, helping to reduce health risks, protect the environment, and empower communities through sustainable solutions.
